I tested 40 $1 Vermont scratch tickets and five $2 Vermont scratch tickets for a complete $50 Vermont Lottery session. Matt tests 45 scratch offs, including Fast 50 and Cashword tickets, to see whether the large $1 stack or the smaller group of $2 tickets can produce the stronger return. The session begins with five $1 tickets featuring a doubler opportunity. Three early winners return $6, putting the session temporarily ahead before Matt moves into a much larger stack of 30 Fast 50 tickets. Fast 50 produces several matching-number wins, including $1, $2 and $5 prizes. Matt continues searching for the money-bag symbol that awards an instant $50, but the complete Fast 50 stack finishes without finding one. The session changes during the five $2 tickets. The first winner returns $2, followed by a $10 ticket. A later ticket appears to contain $15 in prizes until Matt stops, checks it again and discovers another winning pattern. That overlooked match raises the ticket to $25 and pushes the running session total from $30 to $55. The five Cashword tickets then close the session, with one four-word winner adding another $3. After all 45 Vermont Lottery tickets are scratched, the session returns $58 from the $50 spent, producing a final $8 profit.
