Building Da Boys Media
Da Boys Media
Da Boys Media began with a simple decision: stop treating content creation as something to think about someday, and start building it for real. That decision became the foundation for the company that exists today.
Matthew Dubois founded Da Boys Media and remains its sole owner. What started as an idea grew into a company built around original YouTube content, with a focus on entertainment, lifestyle, exploration, and scratch ticket reviews. Matthew is not only running things behind the scenes. He is also an on-camera creator, appearing across multiple channels as part of the content itself.
Shawn has been part of that growth as a Creative Assistant and On-Camera Personality, contributing to the channels and helping bring ideas to life on camera. Together, the team focuses on turning ideas into finished videos on a consistent basis.
Da Boys Media is based in the Queensbury and Glens Falls area of New York. That location provides the backdrop for some of the company's exploration, lifestyle and everyday content.
Today, Da Boys Media operates seven public YouTube channels. Da Boys Media itself serves as the flagship and parent brand. Matthew DaBoys follows Matthew's personal journey building the company. Da Boys Uncut shares unfiltered, behind-the-scenes moments. Explore With Da Boys and Life With Da Boys cover adventure and everyday life. Scratch Ticket Review and Scratch Ticket Review Shorts share scratch-ticket sessions, challenges, recaps and short-form content for viewers who enjoy following the channel.
Each channel has its own identity, but they share the same foundation: original ideas, consistent effort, and a willingness to keep improving. We are not trying to build one viral moment. We are building a media company meant to last, one video and one project at a time.
Beyond the camera, Matthew oversees everything from content direction and channel strategy to production and day to day business operations, the kind of hands-on involvement that comes with building a company from the ground up. It is a lot of moving parts, but it is also what makes Da Boys Media feel like a connected body of work rather than a collection of unrelated channels.
The long-term goal is to keep developing the seven channels, produce original projects and build a durable creator-owned media company. That includes remaining open to collaborations with creators and businesses when they fit the channels, the audience and the work being created.
