Yellow vs Rainbow Lucky 7s - $50 Lottery Ticket Challenge Results!

We bought 25 Yellow Lucky 7 tickets and 25 Rainbow Lucky 7 tickets from the New York Lottery for a complete $50 scratch ticket comparison. Shawn scratched all 50 of these $1 New York scratch offs to find out which Lucky 7 design would return more money. Both tickets use similar ways to win: reveal three 7s in a valid line, find two 7s with the double symbol or uncover a horseshoe in the bonus area. The Yellow tickets were scratched first, followed by the Rainbow tickets, with every winner saved for the final prize reveal. Yellow established the early lead with six winning tickets. Rainbow later uncovered two double symbols and appeared capable of making a comeback, leaving the winner of the comparison uncertain until every prize was revealed. The Rainbow Lucky 7 tickets returned $6 from three winning tickets. The Yellow Lucky 7 tickets finished ahead with $9 from six winning tickets, including a $2 prize that did not require the double symbol. Yellow won the comparison, but neither ticket performed particularly well. We spent $50, won $15 back and finished the session with a $35 loss. Across all 50 tickets, nine were winners, 41 were losers and the biggest individual ticket returned only $2. Shawn gave the overall session a grade of D. @ScratchTicketReview features real scratch tickets, complete scratch offs, honest reactions and full lottery ticket sessions without pretending every ticket is a winner.
